Night Traveler: R.E. Asbury

Night Traveler creator R.E. Asbury is a multi-talented artist and producer. Having worn many hats in the entertainment industry, the mini-bio below is a small sampling of his accomplishments.

The Night Traveler series is the brainchild of record producer and award winning filmmaker, R.E. Asbury. A native of Northern NJ and now based in Orlando, FL, Asbury is the founder of Lunar Moth Entertainment, a fully independent production company dedicated to unique pop culture inspired products. In the late 80's and early 90's, Asbury graced the stage of legendary NJ rock clubs such as The Stone Pony and Studio One as vocalist for rock group Hi-Anxiety. From there he made his first venture to Florida to study the entertainment industry under the guidance of former Vice President of CBS Records, Mert Paul.

In 1995 Lunar Moth Entertainment was born, originally as a jingle house for local cable television advertisements. In 2000 Lunar Moth Entertainment released PROPHECY, a compilation of original songs to pay tribute to the late Eric Carr, former drummer for rock supergroup KISS, who had lost his battle with cancer. PROPHECY enjoyed worldwide attention and kept Lunar Moth Entertainment and its founder busy with tour dates and live events for the next two years. In 2003 Asbury made his film debut co-writing, directing , and starring in "Life's Like a Movie", a short romantic comedy about a young couple pondering married life just weeks before their wedding. The film featured cameos by Twisted Sister's Dee Snider, Peter Tork of The Monkees, and professional wrestler Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. "Life's Like a Movie" went on to win a Telly Award in 2004. That same year Asbury was approached to provide the cover art for the Voodooland CD titled "Give Me Air," featuring rock greats Ace Frehely of KISS, Joe Lynn Turner of Rainbow/Deep Purple, Eric Singer of Alice Cooper/KISS, John Corabi of Motley Crue/The Scream, and guitarist Karl Cochran. Currently, R.E. Asbury is in full Night Traveler mode, ready to unveil the series to the world!
